Really? Really?? I am so depressed now...not necessarily about the election - Jack did really well (better than anyone expected), the Bloc is almost gone (yeah for nationalism), and even the Greens have an elected member - but wow the music requests really brought me down. We should be celebrating our victories! Look at the positive people - What went well? and how do we build on the successes?
"Be OK" - Ingrid Michaelson or "Everything will probably be OK" - Burning Hell....
Well, I put it out there on my facebook note as well as on my facebook status, and almost every single song I played on that show was a request (which I see you were aware of from listening). I would have played more celebration songs if that's what people were feeling that morning. Apparently, not so much. But I dig your suggestions. And I agree that it's not all bad. Since tomorrow morning's show is the "Maybe" show, I will pass on your remarks as well as play the Burning Hell tune (which fits well with both weeks' themes!).
Thanks for listening, Tammy!
AND Ingrid has a song called "Maybe," so she'll get in the show too! :)
